Honesty, I’ve bee mulling that (spending freeze) over for the past couple hours or so and I don’t know what to think. I’ve heard

Patriot — a person who loves, supports, and defends his or her country and its interests with devotion.
Listen, a patriot is someone who puts his society before himself. That’s it.
People that vote in their own interest, like Obama said he expected his supporters to, the ones who chant, “yes we can” those aren’t patriots. Read more... (347 words, 2 images, estimated 1:23 mins reading time)

I was just thinking about how the unions took the deal they just got with their ‘Cadillac’ healthcare plans?
Personally, and specifically Citibank – I don’t care if they ram it up their ass sideways with the trunk open. But rationally and fundamentally, it’s just another example of the philosophical approach the Left takes to problem solving: Read more... (308 words, 1 image, estimated 1:14 mins reading time)

Here’s what I’m starting to think. I’m starting to think Obama’s whole agenda has been like an arrogant person
challenging me to an underwater breath-holding contest in high school. We start out and they look really confident – like their going to be down there all day. Even after I feel my oxygen gone they still look fine. I start to feel a little pain. But all of a sudden they struggle to the top where they desperately cough and hack air into their lungs. So Cheney has been busting Obama’s balls about national security. I’ve been thinking a little about that. Now – from the casual observer it can be noted that his criticism has been helping Obama by causing all the flaky and miss-matched Democrats to rally around him. And assuming that Cheney is indeed against the Obama agenda, it might seem illogical. It might seem that Cheney has some vindictive hair up his ass. Read more... Fairness
Let’s start with the semantics – my favorite part of politics [ facetiousness detected ]. We are talking about the FairTax Act. If we judge this Act by the standards held by recent legislation – like the American Clean Energy and Security Act, America’s Affordable Health Choices Act, and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act – I have to assume that the FairTax Act taxes people unfairly and is not specific to America.
