Divinity Dove, Dr. Dove, and Professor Dove suggested some incentives to bring young professionals and 
businessmen to Michigan to help revitalize the state. For example, full spectrum lights, student loan assistance, parks and nature development along the detroit river, etc. Good grief you guys. You are recent graduate (wana-be) x-Michiganders. Would any of that shit keep you in Michigan? No. Of course not. You’re going to go where the opportunity is that opens up to you. So – Michigan needs opportunities opening up in Michigan if they want to keep young people. Not the other way around.
For students coming out of Michigan universities with start up companies, cover an increasing percentage of their student loan payments for every year they keep the company headquartered in Michigan.
Expand the current Cool Cities initiative. Detroit will take decades to turn around, when that process ever even starts. The state needs other grand locales it can point to. Which ties into the next one…
Honesty, I’ve bee mulling that (spending freeze) over for the past couple hours or so and I don’t know what to think. I’ve heard
rumors Obama will talk about tax credits in the State of the Union Address too. I don’t know what to think.
I get so irritated by noisy dove, because he has become a wind bag. It’s a bunch of emotion-laden ideas that “make sense” and are “logical,” but are backed up by little actual substance (i.e. facts). It reminds me earily of Limbaugh and Beck.
We hear it all the time, “Socialism doesn’t work because there isn’t incentive.” That’s what I learned in 7th grade. We learned about the transition after the Russian revolution. We learned how farmers produced less and less because, well, it just didn’t matter. Specifically I remember my text book describing how Russian men often became alcoholics and drank Kerosene when they ran out of Vodka.
Everyone, when writing about Obama in the context of his economic policies revise the word “Socialist” to “Carter-stupid Democrat” and “Socialist” to “Carter-stupidism.” In all other contexts, please revise other uses of “Socialist” to the terms “pansy” or “Fascist” as appropriate.
LOL – Medea Benjamin (founder of Code Pink) claimed that the presence of more troops equates to more civilian deaths. And her solution is to stop military intervention and focus on economic development – LOL. Someone should ask her what happened to the fucking Kandahar freeway – LOL.
The damn Liberals hold this religion-like contempt for well accepted and validated economic principles. Or as Dr. Dove would say, the Noisy Dove character is a Conservative zealot who follows a religious-like view of economics. It just so happens this religious-like view of economics I learned in school and is held – in its basic form at least – by any and all practicing economists.
Well, the G-20 conference took place in Pittsburgh last week. And as usual there were plenty of protesters – although not near the traditional number – and they came in all type. My favorites are the regular anti-capitalists.
Yeah, I’ve been enjoying the Acorn thing. I love those two kids who pulled it off. Talk about exposé. LOL that’s what you get when you cross activism with entrepreneurship. They did that whole thing for $3000. What a fine investment. And did you hear about the idiots claiming they’ll prosecute the two kids – for recording a conversation (the video is legal) without the other party’s permission? Yeah right, you’d have to be permanently stupid to try that. ATTENTION… ATTENTION… I’M PART OF THE CORUPTION.
