Seeing all the political insane nonsense going on today is enough to make your head explode! Between Obama’s blatant contempt for doing anything productive or logical, Kagan’s falling-off-the-left-side progressive utterings and weasling, and all the other socialist government expansion, you’d think you were locked in a nightmare of mortal stupidity. It’s frightening to watch this craziness. What the hell is going on in this country? What do these politicians think there place is? They walk around with total disregard for the will of the country. They mock their constituents like their place in office is secured by an unmovable foundation. There is a certain swell growing across the nation. November is forming to be a desperate and long suffering quenching of dire thirst. When people go to vote, there will be such a fervent changing of the tides it’ll more resemble class five rapids. Here’s a question: You know how the Left has been working away trying to sell the narrative that the Tea Partiers are violent and stupid? They sight what’s-his-name predicting that Obamacare will be Armageddon and call FOX and Glenn Beck hate mongers. They scrutinize a brick thrown through a Democrat’s office window and ignore the regular Leftist disruptive and destructive protests. I’m mean – shit – the Tea Partiers get out of your way and even clean up their own litter – lol. Read more...(528 words, 2 images, estimated 2:07 mins reading time)
Many people simply misunderstand the purpose of the public nuclear strategy. Liberal bloggers describe it like so: This is done in order to ensure that an all-out nuclear war isn’t created when so many other alternatives exist. (agreements ensure nothing) And then you hear Liberals calling up NPR voicing their indignation that the US nuclear strategy includes using nukes in any case for any reason – because we know how terrible they are now – it’s insane – and so on. So Cheney has been busting Obama’s balls about national security. I’ve been thinking a little about that. Now – from the casual observer it can be noted that his criticism has been helping Obama by causing all the flaky and miss-matched Democrats to rally around him. And assuming that Cheney is indeed against the Obama agenda, it might seem illogical. It might seem that Cheney has some vindictive hair up his ass. Obama’s no more of a left wing nut than Bush was a right wing nut (which he wasn’t). I’m not saying he wasn’t aterrible president. He just didn’t try Laissez faire capitalism or making unions illegal. No a right wing nut. Read more...(349 words, 2 images, estimated 1:24 mins reading time)
Diplomacy is negotiation in its polite form. To negotiate effectively you need ‘leverage’. In other words, you need something of value to trade. If you approach diplomacy without leverage, it’s exactly like negotiating without something to trade. And usually a negotiation without a good to trade is called BEGGING. But Obama seems to think his shear popularity and character will somehow win over the likes of Krazy Kim and Mahmoud. Read more...(640 words, 3 images, estimated 2:34 mins reading time)
The Nobel Peace prize thing knocked me on my ass this morning, until I realized it was based on his single accomplishment: Becoming President. I’m not sure what it has to do with actual accomplishments in furthering peace. If anything his efforts are telling our enemy that we might give up soon, and telling Iraqis and Afghans that they should keep playing both sides, which is just prolonging the two wars. But to some poor thinkers the reluctant-warrior seems more peaceful. Read more...(216 words, 2 images, estimated 52 secs reading time)
It would be very easy to make the case, looking at today’s leaders, and especially easy if you look at history and the most powerful leaders – that they were crazy or had complex mental problems including psychosis. Mao, Stalin, Hitler – to name a few resounding examples, listed in order of who killed the most millions of people for reasons of their beliefs (far outweighing any of those evil theist and their hooky religions) and for reasons of paranoia and general maintenance of power at any and all costs. You’d really have a hard time doing a parody of this speech. But then you could always just show this speech. Qadaffi is insane AND stupid. At least he had high praise for Obama – lol.
Health care reform is an easy thing to talk about on the campaign trail. But I think when all these congressmen start really looking at the complexities and size of things – they’ll start to get cold feet, especially with the political weather that has kicked up. In the case of broad sweeping naïve Change® I’m sort of glad. We need some reform in the way we pay for health care though, that’s for sure. The insurance model doesn’t fit, people get screwed, and so on.Read more...(321 words, 2 images, estimated 1:17 mins reading time)
