You know things are getting bad out there when James Carville and other prominent hard core libs/dems are turning on their beloved Obama. It’s quite an implosion we’re witnessing. It’s shocking how fast the dems went from fab to drab. And drab is stating it kindly. To see republicans and conservatives winning in long held liberal states is monumental. the people are speaking, and doing so with vigor. The next elections will be very interesting, especially after having seen the results of the recent primaries. Read more...(656 words, 1 image, estimated 2:37 mins reading time)

That is basic terror tactic. The idea is you do something to scare the hell out of a democratic society, and cause the government to over react and attack you with enough firepower that the rest of the world feels bad and your movement garners support. And they’re successful. Read more...(226 words, 1 image, estimated 54 secs reading time)

The Vietnam lesson was to not micromanage a war based on politics and a strategy of containment.
If Obama is wrong we aren’t all fucked. We’re Americans. After Obama tries his experiments someone else will fix what he broke and we’ll move on. If he’s right, economic theory will need some revision. Read more...(286 words, 2 images, estimated 1:09 mins reading time)
Health care reform is an easy thing to talk about on the campaign trail. But I think when all these congressmen start really looking at the complexities and size of things – they’ll start to get cold feet, especially with the political weather that has kicked up. In the case of broad sweeping naïve Change® I’m sort of glad. We need some reform in the way we pay for health care though, that’s for sure. The insurance model doesn’t fit, people get screwed, and so on.Read more...(321 words, 2 images, estimated 1:17 mins reading time)
Having some rational stances and being able to argue them… That’s one big weakness I see in the average politician. Clinton was good. He could really rationalize in a seemingly logical way. But most, especially this past week, are terrible arguers.

It was just the same ambiguous redirect we’ve been hearing – stuff like how we each pay $6000 more than other industrialized countries – making the false argument that the resistance to his plan is to do nothing, “keeping the status quo” (Even the liberals’ favorite guy, Bill O’Reilly wants reform) – claiming the big rush is because of letters he gets from people without health coverage and not his dwindling approval. He remembered to remind us all that it’s Bush’s fault again too.Read more...(629 words, 3 images, estimated 2:31 mins reading time)
We may be seeing Sarah Palin’s new direction with the publication of her op ed piece on July 14 in The Washington Post. Entitled The ‘Cap And Tax’ Dead End, Palin points out some of the real problems with the cap and trade bill. Specifically, she addresses how cap and trade would further damage our economy by killing jobs, raising the cost of everything, and raising taxes on the poor. She calls for a new direction – describing America as “ripe for economic growth” – by making responsible use of America’s own energy resources in becoming energy independent. I think the healthcare system has to fundamentally change…
People say that: “Fundamental Change,” but what change could possibly make healthcare into something we all get as a fundamental right? Healthcare requires huge amounts of human expertise, resources, money, space, and whatever else. It’s not like clean water. Every day there’s a new way to treat an old problem and with our population, every day, there are more people with the same old problems because we eat recreationally, breath smoke, and drink poison.Read more...(489 words, 2 images, estimated 1:57 mins reading time)
