It’s fine for passive citizens whose allegiance is more or less irrelevant. If you were a functioning part of the framework –
allegiance would be different. A soldier, for example, can’t question his orders. He must obey them, unless of course they are illegal. Our current climate nearly has solders requiring basic training in military law – with all the appeasement we’ve been attempting in Iraq when civilians get killed. Read more... Patriot — a person who loves, supports, and defends his or her country and its interests with devotion.
Listen, a patriot is someone who puts his society before himself. That’s it.
People that vote in their own interest, like Obama said he expected his supporters to, the ones who chant, “yes we can” those aren’t patriots. Read more... (347 words, 2 images, estimated 1:23 mins reading time)

I get so irritated by noisy dove, because he has become a wind bag. It’s a bunch of emotion-laden ideas that “make sense” and are “logical,” but are backed up by little actual substance (i.e. facts). It reminds me earily of Limbaugh and Beck. Read more... (1876 words, 5 images, estimated 7:30 mins reading time)
