Bank of America is having difficulty finding a CEO who is willing to ruin his/her career being vilified by the Obama Brigade and otherwise not being allowed to compete in the banking industry.
This all should serve as a mighty lesson to Liberal thinkers.
YOU CAN’T NEGOCIATE WITHOUT LEVERAGE. We’ll, I mean you can – it just won’t result in your interest. Charm might get you elected. It might even get you a Nobel Prize. But it won’t slow down Iranian or N Korean Nuke development any faster than it will convince private banks to forego obvious increases in efficiency.
The economy is a big complicated system, sort of like – oh – like the environment. Trying to regulate it at a micro level in order to achieve fantastical ideas of utopian ‘social justice’ will cause the big lumbering system to turn around and bite you on the ass. You kill the birds to save your corn only to have the bugs – no longer being eaten by birds – eat all your corn.
